Early access terms

These terms apply to the Pulse early access website and waitlist. Last updated September 27, 2026.

Joining the waitlist

Use an email address you control and provide accurate information. Joining lets us contact you about Pulse launches and early access. It does not guarantee a release date, an invitation, eligibility for a pilot, or access to a particular feature. There is no charge to join.

A preview of what’s next

The interactive interfaces on this website, including the app demo, are product demonstrations with fictional people, plans, clubs and events. They do not create real plans, join groups, message students, or reserve places at an activity. The app demo runs only in your browser and is discarded when you leave. Product features and pilot availability may change as Pulse develops.

Independent, campus by campus

Pulse is an independent service. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by the University of Maryland. Maryland is the first intended launch community.

Respectful use

Do not submit someone else’s information, automate abusive submissions, attempt to access private records, or interfere with the service.

Before using the app

Separate app terms, eligibility details, community standards, and privacy information will be provided before you create an account. A public operator contact will be provided before public launch.
